  • Design playful, immediately recognizable email templates in Figma.
  • Set up effective, engaging flows in Klaviyo to automate communication and nurture fans.
  • Ensure the brand’s infectious energy comes through in every customer touchpoint.

Approach

1. Crafting Memorable Email Copy

  • Captured the brand’s fun, family-focused voice—warm, energetic, and full of puppy jokes, “paws, hugs, and happy dances.”
  • Wrote engaging hooks for each major touchpoint:
    • Welcome Series: “Meet Kobe and Moki + a little something for you!”
    • Discount Reminders: “Don’t forget your discount—because you deserve a treat, too!”
    • Rescue Storytelling: Personal notes from JJ and the pups, inviting recipients into the rescue journey.
    • Call to Community: “Check out our channel” and “Join the family” style CTAs

2. Playful Design in Figma

  • Designed bold, colorful templates in Figma, featuring:
    • Custom illustrations of mascot dogs Kobe and Moki.
    • Big, friendly headlines; bone and paw iconography.
    • Consistent branding for discounts (“10% OFF” bars), feature callouts, and product showcases.
    • Mobile-optimized layouts for maximum accessibility.
  • Ensured all emails visually echoed the website, making merchandise offers and rescue updates feel part of one cohesive family story.

3. Klaviyo Flow Setup & Import

  • Built out automated flows for:
    • Welcome Series: Immediate intro, brand story, discount delivery, and follow-up community invites.
    • Abandoned Cart: Gentle reminders (“Hey, did life get busy? Your cart is still here!”), playful nudges, and urgency emails—mirrored exactly from Figma design.
    • Imported Figma assets into Klaviyo’s drag-and-drop builder, pixel-matching every element and ensuring consistent delivery across devices.
    • Used conditional splits and timed delays to personalize the journey at every step, just as in the flow diagrams.
